... Not all children have the same motivations. Each kid, as each adult, is different. Although this, there are some tips that often work. My proposal is to start or finish lessons with an active activity.
I propose you to explain curious sentences in English to your pupils or let them discover them.
For instance, one day it's raining hardly. An original way to start class is to ask children if they know another way of saying the same sentence. In case they don't know, you can make groups of two and give this encrypted sentence to them. I think they will be surprised when they discover the sentence.
